Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our innovative client based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator. Our client are a well-established and growing company and this role represents a first class opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced finance team.
The Role
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, you will help maintain strong financial controls and support the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements and investigating any variances
Responding to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Supporting month-end processes within the finance team
About You
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance administration role
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Confident working with finance systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
Team player with the ability to build positive working relationships
