Jenson Fisher is delighted to be partnering with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Glenrothes to recruit an experienced Tax Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to join a highly regarded practice, working with a diverse portfolio of clients and supporting both compliance and advisory work.
The Role
As a Tax Senior, you will play a key role within the firm’s tax team, managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the timely preparation and submission of tax returns. You will also work closely with senior colleagues on a range of advisory projects while building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met
Advising clients on tax compliance matters and responding to queries
Supporting senior team members with tax planning and advisory projects
Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients where required
Identifying potential tax planning opportunities for clients
Assisting with the mentoring and development of junior team members
About You
Previous experience working within tax in an accountancy practice environment
ATT / CTA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Strong technical knowledge across personal and corporate tax
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
