Jenson Fisher is delighted to be partnering with a growing and well-established business based in Glasgow to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to join a dynamic organisation and play a key role in supporting the company’s financial reporting and decision-making processes.
The Role
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information to support the leadership team. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide valuable insight into business performance while supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Producing variance analysis and providing commentary on business performance
Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Providing financial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making
Supporting the wider finance team with process improvements and ad hoc projects
About You
Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent), or qualified by experience
Previous experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Confident user of Microsoft Excel and financial systems
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
