- Jenson Fisher are delighted to have been engaged on a retained basis by our long-standing Perthshire client to recruit a Business Finance Analyst on a permanent, full time basis as a result of an internal promotion.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for validating information used in financial reports and work keenly with department managers to understand any variances but also the key drivers for each operational area. In addition, you will have proven management accounts and financial reporting experience alongside the ability to work with complex financial data and identify trends which can support ongoing continued business decision making.
On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:- Develop a strong working knowledge of volume/cost channels across the business and use your reporting skills to identify process improvements relating to financial data collection.
- Play a key role during the month end process, including monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Produce monthly flash packs for each operational area and submit to the Financial Director.
- Provide insightful and accurate information to Heads of Department in order to support business and commercial strategies.
- Playing a lead role in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
