To £65,000, plus benefits and bonus (flexible working available)
Our client is a FTSE 100 organisation, seeking a DB Pension Manager to join their in-house pension team, based in their North London/Hertfordshire HQ.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multi-billion pound scheme, across a diverse, wide range of pensions projects and to support our Trustees and Governance committees.
This role would suit someone that has a current, up to date knowledge of UK pensions, ideally a qualified or part qualified Actuary, however, experienced PMI qualified candidates will be considered. A positive energy and initiative and ability to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders
Job summary:- Leading on some regular projects, such as support to senior colleagues and internal pensions presentations and regular monitoring
- Playing a key role in a wide variety of other ad-hoc projects such as scheme winds ups, change projects, scheme valuations, re-enrolment and pension communications
- Supporting our scheme managers with regular activity, such as preparation of Trustee meeting materials, managing risk registers and action logs
- Providing technical support to in-house administration and communication teams
- Supporting the team to consider changes in pensions legislation and in responding to consultations
- Managing team and trustee budgets and contracting with suppliers and advisors
- Part Qualified or Qualified Actuary and/or PMI Qualified
- Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging pensions legislation
- Experience of preparing clear and simple materials to present pensions information to stakeholders within the business
