Jenson Fisher are delighted to be retained by our leading multi-national client based in Perth to recruit an International Accountant on a permanent, full time basis to form a key part of their senior leadership team.
In a role which will suit a qualified professional (ACCA/CIMA/CA or equivalent) the International Accountant will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, with detailed information on the performance, including variance analysis to senior management.
- Preparation of annual budget and regular cashflow forecasts for senior management.
- Partnership with business leaders and sales team, delivering insightful analysis for decision making.
- Assist the team with profit analysis, country strategies and price setting.
- Assist with the valuation, control and movement of inventory.
- Compilation of VAT returns and EU VAT reporting (where applicable) for all VAT registrations (currently UK, Ireland, Belgium, and Germany)
- Preparation and submission of payroll for UK employees and coordination of payroll with External Accountants for non-UK employees.
- Ownership of the balance sheet for two entities – ensuring it is accurate and reconciled monthly.
- Delivery of accurate annual financial accounts for two companies, on time for external reporting and internal management deadlines.
- Liaison with external auditors of the two companies to ensure year end audits are completed successfully.

To be considered for this position, it is essential that you are experienced with statutory audit & financial accounts. You will ideally be experienced with Group accounting, consolidation, intercompany & foreign exchange and consider yourself a strong user of systems including Excel at an advanced level. Ultimately you will be a positive influence in the business and be able to demonstrate a forward thinking attitude to problem solving and improving processes and procedures. You will be experienced with monthly management accounting, profit & loss forecasting and cashflow monitoring and be confident communicating with colleagues at all levels both inside and outwith finance.
