Accountant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with our property services client based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit an Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Senior Management Team, the Accountant role will suit an individual looking to complete their full accountancy qualifications and put their experience to good use working within a fast paced, commercial environment.  As the successful candidate, you will be strong when it comes to your financial organisation and be confident taking the lead with business transactions whilst playing a key role during the month and year end processes.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of accounts payable and receiveable.


• Budgets and forecasts.


• Bank reconciliations.


• Preparation of VAT returns.


• Bookkeeping to trial balance stage.


• Production of monthly management accounts.


• Resolving any accounts queries.


• Preparing financial information for Directors as required.


• Collation of time and attendance for payroll.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you are motivated to progress your career within finance and whilst you may not have all the experience outlined above, you will be ready to step into this challenging, full time role.
