Description

Jenson Fisher are delighted to have been appointed as the retained recruitment partners of Ashton McGill to recruit a Senior Accountant on a permanent, full time basis.

Built by founders, for founders, due to a period of sustained growth Ashton McGill are now looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to form a key part of the business, working closely with colleagues and clients alike to positively impact their clients' journeys.

You may be Qualified (ACCA/CA or equivalent) or Qualified by Experience however it is essential that you have previous experience working in practice, possessing the ability to evidence your expertise in a multi-client environment. On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting account managers to manage a portfolio of small and growing businesses across a range of industries.

  • Prepare and review clear, insightful management accounts.

  • Deliver financial analysis and advice that helps businesses make better decisions.

  • Guide clients through cloud accounting tools and tech.

  • Prepare and review year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.

  • Support forecasting, budgeting and corporate finance projects.

  • Build strong, lasting relationships as a trusted advisor.

  • Collaborate with account managers, and the wider team, to deliver seamless, high value support.

As the successful candidate, you will not be working isolation. You will collaborate closely across Ashton McGill to deliver joined-up, high value support. In addition, you will be provided with all of the tools and freedom to do your best work in a flexible, modern environment.
