Description

My client is an independent, Chartered private wealth management firm with offices in Cambridge, London and Stansted.

Clients are supported by a dedicated team of over 20 industry professionals. They assume the role of a collaborative financial partner. Guiding, advising and working with clients over the long-term. Building a relationship that permits both openness and debate.

They now have an opportunity for a Financial Planner to join their experienced team working from the Cambridge office, which they are focusing their growth efforts on.

Inherited HNW Client Bank | Full Paraplanning & Admin Support | Long-Term Career Growth

Are you an experienced Wealth Planner or IFA ready to step into a role where you can truly thrive? Would you like to inherit a well-established portfolio of loyal, high-net-worth clients and be part of a firm known for nurturing talent and supporting long-term career success? If so, this is your chance to join a respected, client-first wealth management firm with a reputation for excellence and ethical advice.

The Opportunity:

As a Senior Wealth Planner / Financial Advisor, you will take ownership of an existing book of HNW clients, building deep, lasting relationships while delivering holistic, whole-of-market financial solutions across investments, pensions, tax, and estate planning. You’ll be backed by full paraplanning and administrative support, freeing you to focus on client care and strategic growth. Working alongside a highly collaborative team, you’ll benefit from a clear, structured path for professional development and progression.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a prestigious portfolio of HNW and long-standing clients.

  • Deliver bespoke, client-centric financial advice with the highest ethical standards.

  • Build new business opportunities through referrals and professional partnerships.

  • Collaborate with dedicated paraplanners and admin staff for seamless client service.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure advice aligns with client goals and regulations.

Experience:

  • Proven success in wealth management, advising HNW individuals and families.

  • A client-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills.

  • Track record of ethical, tailored financial advice.

  • Level 6/Chartered Financial Planning qualifications (or working towards).

  • Ambition to grow, develop, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

What’s on Offer:

  • Inherited, established bank of high-net-worth clients.

  • Salary up to £75,000 (DOE) plus competitive benefits.

  • Full paraplanning and administrative support—focus on advice, not paperwork.

  • Ongoing professional development with a clear progression path.

  • Work with a respected firm that invests in its people and puts clients at the centre.
