Description
Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by our national client with numerous sites across the UK to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. In a role which can be based anywhere in the country, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing consolidated accounts for the business alongside statutory reporting for all trading entities within the Group.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant is crucially responsible for ensuring compliance with audit whilst managing internal relationships with key stakeholders. You will consider financial reporting as your key strength and be it budgets, forecasts, cashflows or fixed assets, you will pride yourself on delivering first class financial accounting information. In addition, you will be in possession of your full accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Production of year end reporting packs to include statutory accounts, corporation tax and all associated analysis.
  • Reviewed balance sheet accounts.
  • Delivery of accurate Fixed Asset Register.
  • Capital WIP reporting alongside variance analysis.
  • Support with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Assess commercial areas of risk and opportunity and present to executive team.
  • Prepare financial analysis on a timeous basis.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts including banks, auditors etc.
