- Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and respected accountancy practice in Glasgow to recruit an Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a friendly, professional team in a role offering long-term development and career progression within practice.
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive accounts team, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to a varied portfolio of clients. This role will suit someone with previous experience in practice or a strong interest in developing a career in accountancy.
Key responsibilities include:- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping duties.
- Supporting year-end processes and financial statements preparation.
- Liaising with clients to request and clarify financial information.
- Assisting senior team members and partners with ad hoc tasks and projects.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
