- Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with an innovative and forward thinking business based in Glasgow to recruit a Bookkeeper on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Directors, the role of the Bookkeeper will be to ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately on a daily basis whilst ensuring the trial balances are completed monthly alongside accurate passing of the payroll information to an external payroll provider.
In a role which will suit an experienced Bookeeper who is looking for a new challenge where they can add value through their skills and knowledge, your daily responsibilities will include:- Bookkeeping to trial balance stage.
- Purchase ledger, including reconciling supplier statements.
- Sales ledger, including issuing invoices.
- Collation of time and attendance for payroll and resolving any anomalies.
- Credit control via telephone and letter.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Bank reconciliations.
- General accounts administration.
- Daily use of Xero (training will be provided) and Microsoft Excel.
