Description

Jenson Fisher are working with a a returning client to support in the recruitment of an accredited Paralegal to join their Private Client Team and support the workload of one of the Snioer Partners. 

The successful candidate will be capable of managing a full caseload of Private client matters including Wills, POA and Executry work with minimum supervision.  The successful candidate will enjoy a high degree of direct client contact and have the ability to work as part of team, or independently.  Initiative and flexibility in managing a busy caseload will be essential.

Duties of the role will also include:

  • Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney, Dispositions, LBTT, Advance Notices;
  • Drafting of registration forms in relation to Dispositions, Discharges and other legal documents;
  • Completing and submitting forms in relation to registration of Powers of Attorney;
  • Drafting and completion of fee invoices.
  • Meeting with clients to sign Wills and other legal documents.
  • Completion of forms in relation to executries (i.e. from banks/insurance companies);
  • Answering telephone calls and arranging meetings;
  • Meeting new clients and liaising with them in relation to AML documentation and the issuing of the standard Letter of Engagement; opening relative file and completion of all necessary information.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all f the above and will be able ot hit the ground running from day 1. The role offers an immediate start to the successful candidate and also offers a highly competitive salary based on experience.
