Bookkeeper

Jenson Fisher is partnering with a recognisable business services company in Dundee to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent, full time basis. Our client has a proven track record providing services to their own clients in the SME space and because of sustained business growth have created an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join their team. With a reputation for excellence, our client is based in Dundee however have a client pool across the country.

The Role

Jenson Fisher have been instructed by our client to identify an experienced, committed, and innovative Bookkeeper who can demonstrate their experience within this fast-paced role. You must be a strong multi-tasker with excellent organisational and communication skills; written, verbal and face to face.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Bookkeeper will predominantly work on managing day to day accounting and finance requirements, ensuring that deadlines are met. You will cover all aspects of organising transactional finance whilst pulling together periodic reports for management review. Your responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping to trial balance stage.
• Bank recocniliations.
• Journal processing.
• Producing reports including:
  • Profit & Loss
  • Balance Sheet
  • Debtors & Creditors
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Use of financial software including Xero and Microsoft Excel.
