Accounts Manager

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with an established Property client based in the centre of Glasgow to recruit an Accounts Manager on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to take the next step in their career, and oversee a small transactional finance team.

Main duties:

• Assisting with monthly management accounts.
• Reconciling balances.
• Understanding and agreeing client reporting requirements.
• Providing regular and ad hoc analysis.
• Year-end service charge account drafting and completion.
• Dealing with tenants and landlords and responding to their queries.
• Liaising with surveying colleagues and on-site staff.
• Overseeing and assisting the transactional team.

Main requirements:

• Strong accounts experience within Property is essential.
• First class communication skills and an ability to improve processes.
• Strong technical skills, in particular Excel.
• Ability to be a confident self-starter.
• Highly organised.
