Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a large scale employer based in the Perth area who are looking to recruit a Finance and Data Analyst on a permanent, full time basis,. Reporting into the Finance Director of this prosperous SME, the FInance and Data Analyst will work with individuals across the business where you will be tasked with providing business critical analytical information for use during Board meetings and to impact commercial operations.

You will have a strong passion for data manipulation and an understanding of how efficiency in this field can positively influence business performance.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
  • Complete collation, analysis and presentation of data using tools such as Excel and SQL.
  • Provide the Finance Director with reports on critical business operations ranging from revenue to margins to pricing.
  • Compile data from various sources and summarise for department head review.
  • Work closely with Directors from across the business to provide key financial and analytical support and guidance.
  • Provide a key link between the finance and IT departments on operational issues and business projects.
  • Continuously improve business reporting and ease of access to financial information.
To be successful in this position you must have experience working in a similar role and be well positioned to drive forward business success via the provision of strong data. It is essential that you have extremely strong Excel skills alongside a proven ability working towards and achieving deadlines. In addition, you will be confident working using your own initiative or under direction from the Finance Director.
