- My client is an independent, family-run financial planning firm with whole of market access. The company combines decades of knowledge, experience and expertise to help clients grow and protect their wealth. They are fully committed when it comes to securing financial legacy for future generations.
This business have branched out from a previous firm in 2002, as a way to strengthen the overall proposition and meet the needs of our longstanding clients. They introduced three additional services: a cutting-edge Cash Flow Financial Modelling; Discretionary Fund Management services for clients who give full responsibility for financial decisions and a Next Generation workshop for clients who want their children to learn the importance of estate planning and Inheritance Tax mitigation.
Due to growth, they are now looking for an Office Manager to join their firm to assist in the management and workflow allocation of a team of Administrators & Paraplanners. There will be some flexibility within this position, but they expect someone to be in the office at least 3 times a week due to it being a management position.
Responsibilities- Support Partners in driving strategy of the business.
- Take responsibility for all HR matters in respect of staff.
- Manage day to day workflow ensuring timely and compliant completion.
- Ensure continuity of office facilities through active management.
- Ensure adherence to FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) rules as defined in the firms compliance procedures.
- Ensure that all compliance initiatives are implemented once agreed.
- Liaison with product providers, consultants and clients and handling complex servicing queries.
- Coaching the team to help get the best performance from the individuals and the team.
- Take responsibility for the production of management information which aids the business in making informed decisions.
- Performing other duties as required/assigned.
Experience- Financial Services background is essential
- FCA Compliance and AML experience
- Attention to detail and an appreciation of data accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of managing and coaching people
- Workflow management experience
- Good IT Skills e.g Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Level 4 Diploma desirable
