My client will be a great fit if you enjoy autonomy, having your opinions both heard and acted upon and want a supportive environment in which to grow without being micro-managed. They are a Chartered, independent, fee-based wealth management firm focused on providing well researched and bespoke advice. They now seek to recruit an experienced admin team leader or manager. This will particularly suit if you enjoy oversight, improving processes and operations.
You will have the flexibility of working from home and the office.
Responsibilities:- Manage your team’s workload, development, training and appraisals.
- Work closely with the Head of Paraplanning to monitor smooth workflow and communication.
- Monitoring KPIs and processes – reporting back to the Operations Director.
- Involved in Quarterly Management Meetings.
- Highlight any concerns so that processes, your department and firm can constantly improve.
- IFA administration duties.
- Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience:- Have team leader or management role within an IFA firm.
- At least three years’ experience of working in administration within a busy IFA office.
- A wide knowledge of the different administrative roles and varied industry products.
- Excellent prioritisation skills to meet, if not exceed, deadlines.
- The ability to manage expectations of all staff and clients.
- A good working knowledge of Xplan is desirable.
- A degree-level education and the Financial Planning Certificate (but not necessary).
