- Jenson Fisher have been retained by WCF Horticulture based in Perthshire to recruit an Accounts Administrator on a permanent, full time basis.

With two businesses operating from Almondbank, Perth, our client WCF Horticulture is a leading packer and supply chain manager in the horticultural sector, specialising in seed potatoes and live product including plants and bulbs.
With a focus on satisfying a diverse customer base with specialised production, packaging and handling facilities, including eCommerce fulfilment. Established in 1988, WCF Horticulture are part of WCF Ltd, a private company, partly owned by its’ employees, operating a number of autonomous businesses focused on niche retailing and specialist distribution.
The Role – Accounts Administrator
The Accounts Administrator position is a fantastic opportunity to join the business in a broad role that will both utilise and develop your existing skills and experience. You will report directly into the General Manager and will possess a strong background using Sage and Microsoft Office alongside excellent communication skills, first class attention to detail and a true understanding of transactional finance.
On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include:
- Purchase ledger processing.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Processing card payments and setting up new customer accounts.
- Posting accruals and prepayments onto Sage.
- Assisting with accounts production to be sent to Head Office.
- Aged debt management including issuing statements and reminders.
- Collating time and attendance for payroll.
- Production of monthly business KPIs for senior management.
- Continuously improving processes and procedures.
