- Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a dynamic, commercial and long established business based in Arbroath to recruit a Finance Analyst to cover an initial temporary contract, ideally for a period of 9 months. Working as a key part of the finance team, the Finance Analyst will ideally be in possession of their full accounting qualification - CA, CIMA or ACCA - and will have strong previous experience working in a commercial environment. Consideration however will also be given to those deemed Qualified by Experience or Part Qualified.
You will have strong experience managing relationships with key stakeholders and possess the ability to relay financial information in a clear and concise manner. In addition, you will have a strong understanding of commercial operations ranging from revenue to profit and margins to costs.
On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:- Preparation of budgets and forecasts, including working closely with individual budget holders.
- Preparation of financial reports periodically and presenting to senior management.
- Production and analysis of sales reports.
- Production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis.
- Delivery of strong, accurate MI uniting all areas of the business.
- Continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures - not only within finance but across the wider business.
