Accountant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with an established business based in Perth to recruit an Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. In a role which will suit someone either Qualified by Experience or potentially working through their professional qualifications, the role of the Accountant will be to provide key members of the business with regular financial information in order to aid decision making whilst also ensuring that all accounting reporting deadlines are met each time, on time.

Working as part of a small team, this position will be of particular relevance to someone who has worked in varied roles in the past and will thrive in a similarly varied working environment.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Providing commentaries and analysis of these and discussing when required.
• Bookkeeping to trial balance stage.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Ensuring that transactional deadlines are met.
• Monitor and review of financial processes and procedures, highlighting efficiencies when required.
• Analysis of financial software, identifying opportunities for enhancements on a continous basis.

To be considered for this role you must consider yourself a competent Accountant with both an eye for detail and a flair for systems.
