Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working in partnership with our commercial client operating in the manufacturing sector to recruit a Bookkeeper to cover an initial 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting into the Directors, the Bookkeeper will be able to demonstrate excellent experience covering day to day acccounts, ensuring that the financial record keeping for the business is maintained accurately and deadlines are achieved on time.

On a daily basis your responsibilities will include:
  • Purchase ledger processing and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Sales ledger and issuing statements on a monthly basis.
  • Bank reconciliations and investigating any anomalies.
  • Bookkeeping to trial balance stage and pulling together monthly reports.
  • Collation of time and attendance for payroll.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Daily use of financial software and Microsoft Excel.
