- Are you a meticulous and proactive individual with a passion for numbers and financial management? Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our client, a well-established and dynamic company based in Perth, Scotland, as they seek an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth processing of transactions, and supporting the wider finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in accounting within a supportive and collaborative environment.
On a daily basis your responsibilties will include:- Processing invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and efficiently.
- Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and reporting.
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and payroll processing.
- Handling supplier and customer queries in a professional manner.
- Maintaining the integrity of the accounting system and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary between £25,000 and £30,000, based on experience alongside the opportunity for professional development and career progression.
