- Jenson Fisher are delighted to be supporting an innovative, dynamic and forward thinking employer based in Rosyth to recruit a Bookkeeper on a permanent, full time basis. You will work in a stand alone role managing all daily transactions within the business alongside monthly reporting to the Senior Management Team therefore it is essential that you have strong, hands-on experience in a similar position. In addition you will consider yourself detail focussed and accurate in all that you do as well as being a strong user of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:- Handling of accounts payable including reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries.
- Sales ledger through to credit control via telephone and letter.
- Bookkeeping to trial balance stage on a monthly basis.
- Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Collation of time and attendance for payroll purposes.
