Jenson Fisher are working with a returning client and are supporting with the recruitment of and experienced Sales Manager, based in Dundee but covering the Central Belt.
The company we are working with are going through an exciting period of change and are adding to their current work portfolio. They are looking to bring a dynamic, fresh, and edgy new element to their offering, with the ambition to be the biggest and boldest in Scotland. It is important that the successful candidate matches these characteristics and has the drive to deliver the business case.
The key duties of the role are to oversee the day to day commercial and revenue needs of the business and manage a team of account managers to ensure overall revenue targets are delivered.
The other day to duties will also include:
- Manage the day to day needs of the sales and S&P process.
- Directly oversee an existing client portfolio.
- Manage and motivate the local advertising managers.
- Ensure all sales and revenue processes are maintained and implemented effectively.
- Deliver and maintain commercial rates for all regions covered.
- Chair weekly local sales meetings.
- Provide accurate sales and financial reporting.
- Deliver on business net revenue targets.
- Support the Head of Sales with creating and delivering annual sales plans.
- Develop relationships at a Senior Management level across the business and external clients.
- Identify new opportunities and collaborate with other businesses that will highlight the company offerings.
- Review competitor activity and track the portfolio’s market share.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience of successful management of sales teams, with a proven track record of delivering KPI’s and targets. You will ideally come with an established network of industry contacts, be able to demonstrate of a strong understanding of sales processes and have both strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills too.
