To £20,000 per annum

Our client is a leading and successful motor dealership network, operating over 30 sites across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, on behalf of the industry's biggest manufacturers.

With a turnover in excess of £500M and over 600 staff, they now seek a Purchase Ledger Clerk, with an excellent eye for detail to join their finance team based in their Head Office in Romford.

This is a role that will benefit a candidate currently studying the AAT or ACCA who is seeking an opportunity to develop hands-on accounting skills. The client will consider candidates with little accounting experience who are keen to learn, work hard and most importantly have a positive attitude.

Description

  • Accurately input high volumes of invoices onto the system
  • Batching, coding and indexed for payment
  • Proactively ensures that duplicate payments are minimised
  • Assists in processing credit notes and invoices received
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Produce remittance advices
  • Assist in processes expense claims
  • Dealing with supplier queries

Skills/Experience

  • Seeking a career in finance
