Jenson Fisher are engaged on a retained basis by Scott & Fyfe, an employee-owned business based in Tayport, to recruit a Financial Controller as a result of continued and sustained business growth.

Financial Controller – Role Profile
As the Financial Controller for this successful and profitable SME, you will successfully engage not only with the wider finance team but also with other department managers and colleagues. You will be in possession of a full accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) and possess the relevant post-qualifying experience within industry.
In this hands-on role, you must be able to demonstrate an experience of succeeding in a position which has required you to display strong statutory and monthly reporting experience. In addition, you will be able to work with your team to ensure that transactional reporting deadlines are achieved consistently.
The main duties of the Financial Controller will include;
Applications are sought from individuals with a strong commercial background and experience working within the SME space in a key financial role. You must consider yourself commercial in your approach and be able to support the future success of the business with an excellent financial grounding. Strong experience using Microsoft Excel is essential and use of Sage 200 would be advantageous although not critical.
