To £35,000 plus benefits
Our client is a leading FTSE 250 company with a major self-managed DB Pension Scheme. They now have a new opportunity for a to join their Pensions Operation team. As the System Pension Analyst you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Pension Administration system.
Providing a high quality service to our system users and delivering an excellent colleague experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to champion best practice in a thriving and busy team.
This position would suit someone with a strong level of Pension systems experience and/or DB Pension Scheme administration.
You will be responsible for- Being a first line response to capture, investigate and resolve system issues
- Maintenance and development of the Pensions administration system
- Expertise areas may include: Calculations, processes (workflow), document generation, data reporting
- Testing system functionality, including peer review and sign-off duties
- Delivering system and administration projects (e.g. Pensions increase, Benefit Reports, other ad-hoc projects)
- Ensuring good governance and high quality assurance standards
- Identifying areas for both systems and administration improvement
- Capturing user feedback and system change requirements
- Interpret user/change requirements and pensions technical to draft system specifications and proposals
- Providing support and training to the administration teams and member services teams
- Being pro-active in identifying areas for improvement and efficiency. Be a champion for best practice and manage risk
- Liaising with our administration teams, other internal teams and key stakeholders
- Liaising with software developers, third party providers, scheme advisors
- Forge strong relationships with our administration teams, understanding our administration function and processes
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always act with integrity and due diligence
You will need- Strong level of Pension systems experience and/or DB Pension Scheme administration
- Experience of technical benefit calculations
- Experience of using pension systems and proficient in Pension calculations
- Up to date knowledge of UK Pensions legislation
- Experience of systems testing (desirable)
Hybrid Role
Our client announced that they will be moving towards a more blended working week – combining office and remote working. The offices will continue to be where you connect, collaborate and innovate, this role will be a minimum of 2 days in the office per week
