Description
Jenson Fisher are working with our exclusive client to support in the recruitment of an experienced HR Assistant within their Dundee based office. This role offers an exciting opportunity with an instantly recognisable business, alongside a competitive salary and benefits package.

As the successful candidate you will be a key member of the team, supporting the HR function and the operation of the organisation’s HR policies, processes and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a busy and growing business currently with around 90+ employees.

Daily duties within the role include:
  • Being responsible for keeping all staff records up to date.
  • Processing new starter information.
  • Ensuring all background and right to work checks are completed, prior to new employees starting.
  • Recording and reporting of other workforce information, including absence and attendance details.
  • You will act as the first point of contact for HR queries.
  • You will assist with on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Managing contracts and contract renewals.
  • Supporting with performance management administration.
  • Oversee employee file maintenance and record keeping in line with GDPR.
  • Basic payroll function, ensuring the correct information is sent for processing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and people skills, have high attention to detail and good organisational and time management skills. You will also ideally have gained a CIPD qualification or be working towards this and will have previous experience and understanding of Employment Law. It would also be beneficial if you had experience using a variety of HR Software packages alongside Microsoft Office too.
