- Description
- Jenson Fisher have been engaged by an expanding client based in Glasgow who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant looking to take the next step in their career and oversee the accounts department.
The main duties:- Sales Ledger invoice preparation and posting
- Purchase Ledger invoice coding, posting and statement reconciliation
- Preparation of monthly payment run
- Processing monthly payroll
- Assist in the production of monthly management accounts
- Assist with annual budgets
- Cash flow projections and monthly operating results
- Report on variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Produce timely and reliable management information reports on a weekly and monthly basis
- Previous all round accounts experience is essential
- Strong transactional background
- Sage experience is essential
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Construction Industry background preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst handling multiple priorities
- Self-motivated and proactive
