- Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working in partnership with an established, commercial and innovative business with firm roots in the Dundee area to recruit an Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Accountant will primarily have the responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts for a key area of the business including variance analysis, detailed commentaries for the Board alongside the ongoing review of financial processes and procedures.
On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:- Production of monthly management accounts.
- Preparation of additional financial analysis including variance analysis.
- Production of budgets and working with department managers on their own budget management.
- Cash flow forecasting.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Playing a key role during the year end process, including draft production of statutory accounts.
- Project accounting including cost accounting, and fixed asset reporting.
- Mentor and lead a small transactional team ensuring that accounts payable and accounts receivable deadlines are achieved.
