- Jenson Fisher, have been engaged by a highly reputable organisation based in Stirling to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. My client offers an attractive package, including, hybrid working, generous holidays and attractive pension. This role would suit a good all round Accounts Assistant looking for career progression.
The main duties:- Daily bank reconciliations, processing cheques and recording bank drawn transactions accurately
- Detailed analysis of nominal ledger transactions
- Preparing, reconciliation and processing credit card, staff and petty cash expenses
- Compiling sales invoices for labour and expenses recharges
- Analysis of transactions
- Assistance with VAT returns
- Assisting Financial Accountants in preparing accounts
- Processing cost transactions and analysis of costs from contract costing system
- Assisting with preparation and reconciliations from job costing system in Excel for monthly reports
- Accounts Assistant experience is essential
- Strong skills on Excel
- Knowledge of Sage is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised with high levels of attention to detail.
