- Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and completion of statutory and monthly group management accounts combined with a day to day involvement in the operations of the business. This post offers a mix of office and home working, flexible hours, attractive salary and bonus.
The main duties:- Production of monthly consolidated management accounts
- Collaborate with senior members of the finance team to prepare monthly management information pack
- Collaborate with financial planning and analysis part of the finance team to improve group performance and reporting
- Reporting & accounting as required for regulatory and legal purposes, including management and statutory accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliation, analysis and control
- Assist with management of the annual audit process
- Liaison with tax accountants and review of tax returns for assigned entities
- Payment runs, banking and cashflow forecasting
- Development and coaching of junior staff
- Liaise with external auditors, company solicitors, banks and suppliers regularly
- Preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly KPI reporting
- Risk management and implementation of improvements to financial control and procedures
- ACCA/ICAS/CIMA Qualified/Part Qualified
- Management accounts experience is essential
- Strong skills in Excel
- Be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible and able to work on a variety of ad hoc projects
- Strong organisational skills
- Sage experience is preferred
