- Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with our long standing client to recruit a Group Management Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. You will be in possession of your full accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA or equivalent) and be looking to secure an opportunity that will provide the platform for continued career development and progression.
You will consider yourself commercial in your approach with a flair for business and, in addition, you will have a strong eye for detail and a desire to continuously improve processes and procedures. Working as a key member of the team, you will be comfortable delegating work to junior members of the team and also be confident working using your own initiative.
The main responsibilities of the Group Management Accountant will include:- Production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and associated commentaries.
- Preparation of the monthly reporting pack for the board.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Production of statutory accounts at year end.
- Oversee all transactional processing and collation of payroll data.
To be successful you must have the experience to perform the above tasks whilst also being able to grow into a key figure within the business. You will have strong commercial experience and whilst a knowledge of international business is preferred this is not essential.
