- Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly successful organisation based in Paisley to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a full-time basis for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience, and will be looking for a role that will consist of a mix of home and office working. The main duties:- Processing a monthly payroll end to end in a team of 2
- Calculate payments for SSP/SMP/SPP and company sick pay purposes, complete all documentation required by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Online reporting to pension funds and RTI to HMRC
- Appropriately record any deductions from salaries
- Produce all payroll reports (including salary advices) and other reports required by the Finance Dept
- Process all payments
- Undertake manual random checks of PAYE & pension contributions
- Deal with payroll queries
- Previous payroll experience is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Good payroll legislation knowledge
- Team player
