Management Accountant – 18 Month Maternity Cover
Salary: To £50,000 per annum
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Our client is an established Food Manufacturer with a turnover in-excess of £40m and over 130 staff. They now require an experienced Management Accountant, reporting directly to the Directors, to manage the financial controls of the business and supervise a team of 5 staff.
This is a busy finance department and requires an experienced accounting professional that can work in a time pressured environment, has strong time management and attention to detail and is able to work autonomously, whilst being a supportive team leader.
- Overseeing of all accounting transactions
- Calculation/Setting up ‘Bills of Materials’ of new finished good lines
- Changing cost prices on accounting system accordingly
- Budget/ Reforecast control
- Analysis control
- Corporation Tax payments
- Accruals/Prepayments
- Weekly P&L reporting
- Monthly P&L reporting and management review
- Stock variance reporting
- Use SAP (Business One) for accounting and Sage Payroll.
Experience:
- Experienced Accountant who minimum qualification being AAT Level 4 or progressing to final stages of ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- 10 years plus accounts experience
- Attention to detail, a team player and hardworking
