Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by our established client in Dundee to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent, full time basis. Working as part of an established, structured finance team the role of the Assistant Accountant will be to work closely with the Finance Manager and Financial Controller on periodic reporting deadlines whilst improving and enhancing efficiencies across the accounting function.

Ina role which will suit someone at Part Qualified level or looking to pursue, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:

• Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts.
• Banking including cash management and postings.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Financial analysis including preparation of commercial reports.
• Work closely across all day to day financial reporting including purchase ledger and sales ledger.
• Preparation of intrastat reports.
• Project involvement in systems enhancements.
