- Jenson Fisher is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, innovative and reputable accountancy firm to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Accountant to join their team as an Accounts Senior. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to work from any location while delivering first class accounting services.
As the Accounts Senior, you will be a Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CA or equivalent) and play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring their financial and business needs are supported effectively. You will be responsible for providing expert financial advice, overseeing accounting processes, building strong client relationships, and leading a team of accountants. Your ability to deliver high-quality service and proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement will be crucial to your success in this role.
On a day to day basis your will:- Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their financial needs.
- Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic financial insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs, including tax planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to ensure the firm's services remain cutting-edge and compliant.
- Identify opportunities for business development, including upselling services and expanding the client base.
- Utilise accounting software and other relevant tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
