Jenson Fisher is delighted to be once again partnering with our long established client to recruit a competent and dynamic individual into the newly created role of Transactional Finance Manager.

In this permanent, full time role which will suit someone with extensive experience gained across the finance department, you will play a pivotal role in this business working alongside the Management Accountant, leading a small team and reporting into the Head of Finance.

As the Transactional Finance Manager, your responsibilities will involve managing essential financial processes to ensure ease of reporting and access to up to date financial information across this fast paced commercial Group. On a daily basis your duties will include:

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring the integrity of financial information and records.
• Manage the payment runs for the business, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial commitments and cashflow management.
• Maintaining a strong dialogue with the company Credit Controllers to best understand and manage debt performance.
• Managing employee expenses.
• Playing a key role during the month end process, providing the required information to meet deadlines for management accounts and associated analysis.
• Enabling the business to maintain thorough control on expenditure and costs via the efficient management of a robust Purchase Ordering process.
• Collation of time, attendance and amendments for weekly payroll processing.
• Daily use of Sage 200 (experience preferred but not essential), Credit Hound and Microsoft Excel.
• Maintaining company bank accounts including bank reconciliations.

To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have the experience to perform the above tasks gained from working within a fast paced, commercial environment. You will be confident working both using your own initiative or as part of a team and you will use your own high standards to drive forwards the quality of work undertaken within the business.
